01 - In a medium saucepan, mix oats, milk, brown sugar, raisins, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
02 - Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat while stirring frequently.
03 - Lower heat to low and simmer 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until oats are creamy and tender.
04 - Remove from heat and allow to sit for 1 minute to thicken.
05 - Divide into bowls and add optional toppings such as chopped nuts, extra raisins, or a drizzle of honey.
