01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

04 - Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
06 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
07 - Gently flatten each ball with your palm or the bottom of a glass.
08 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
